Once found, the artist is recorded on a Revox tape-deck from the boot of the VW van and within 24 hours the song is shared with listeners worldwide. In order to capture the essence of the song, the artist is recorded under limited circumstances- just like in the old days!

1. Artist is spotted in pub
2. Artist offers a place to spend the night
3. Artist sings in native language
4. Artist plays one original song
5. Song is recorded on tape with two microphones
6. Song is recorded within two takes
7. Song is recorded from the boot of the VW van
8. Recording is filmed with one camera
9. Video clip is mixed, edited and uploaded within 24 hours
10. Boot Recordings continues its journey to the next pub
